Vision & Mission

“My life is my message”, says Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Born on 23rd November 1926 at Puttaparthy, a remote and tiny village in Andhra Pradesh of Indian sub-continent, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has captured the hearts of millions and millions around the globe by His practice and precept. “Love all; Serve all. Service to Man is Service to God” are the thoughts central to His message. Casting away the differences in terms of religion, caste, creed and nationality, Bhagavan Baba has been uniting the entire humanity under one mighty spiritual umbrella called the “Brotherhood of Man and the Fatherhood of God”.

Through His life and mission, Bhagavan Baba has been demonstrating a unique and ultimate way for the emancipation of human life. He says man derives his existence and sustenance from the society. Therefore, it is essential for him to dedicate all his skills and resources for the welfare of the society. In serving to uplift the society, the individual is in turn uplifted. Further, by serving the society, man comes out of his little self and learns that ‘Expansion is Life’. Only through selfless service, can man realize the presence of God in all life forms.

Sri Sathya Sai Schools and Sri Sathya Sai University with three colleges offer high quality integral Education totally free of cost from KG to PG. The Two huge Super Specialty Hospitals at Puttaparthi and Bangalore provide free and exceptional medical services blended with love and care. The massive water supply projects launched by Bhagavan have brought permanent solution to the drinking water needs of the people of several districts of Andhra Pradesh and the Chennai city of Tamilnadu. Apart from these massive projects, Bhagavan has also been doing phenomenal range of humanitarian services. In a matter of about eighty years of His biological life on earth, the massive mission that Bhagavan Baba has achieved is something for the entire humanity to cherish and emulate.

It is high time that we realized the importance of Bhagavan’s mission. Each one of us must now make genuine efforts to follow the model provided by Bhagavan Baba and jump into action in our own little ways. By filling our hearts with selfless love and involving ourselves in little acts of service, we can hope to make a difference in life. The waves of good acts and love will grow day by day and envelop the entire world. The result will be the dawn of a new age of prosperity, peace and bliss.
